The model name on the side cover is the owner's playful idea. The base model is a modern 4-cylinder CBR, and this is a custom bike with the former CBR400F style. The name on the side cover represents the character of this bike in the same position and font as the CBR400F. The frame, engine, and 17-inch front and rear wheel are all stock for the CBR650F. Yet, the front face, fuel tank, tail cowl, and the seat are all fitted to the '80s CBR400F without any sense of incongruity. A mesh panel (made by himself) was inserted under the frame to avoid the strange gap between the tank and the frame. He used a meter case for VTR (250) which he found almost same as CBR400F. The dummy oil cooler is installed under the square light which is one of the main features of CBR400F. The front and rear 17 inch wheels look like CBR400F's 16/18 inch wheels, and now the detailed power system is set up with Buzzard's performance chip. But still, this bike is so perfect.

The side ducts above the cylinder head also create the CBR400F look, but also serve to cover the wiring. The frame is a stock CBR650F, the seat rail is modified, and the CBR400F logo is placed on the stock 650F under cowl. The logo on the side cover also represents the CBR650F in CBR400F style. 2ff7e9595c
